Anne Buchanan
Managing Director, Head of Capital Formation & Investor Relations
Anne Buchanan is the Head of Capital Formation and Investor Relations at Preston Capital. She joined in March of 2023 and is responsible for all investor-related fundraising, relationship management and ongoing communication. Prior to joining Preston, she was the Head of Investor Relations at Stronghold Investment Management, where she led all investor and fundraising efforts. Preceding Stronghold, she was Senior Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at Obra Capital (formally known as Vida Capital), a vertically integrated asset manager focused on longevity contingent assets.
Over her 6+ year tenure, she brought in billions of dollars across multiple investment vehicles and diversified their investor base with numerous global institutional investors and large family offices. Prior to Obra Capital, she raised funds for Capital Research and Management (otherwise known as American Funds) for approximately seven years.
Anne holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from The University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a BA in Psychology, History and English.
